The Punch is a transient shaper effect available in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin formats for compatible digital audio workstations on PC and Mac. It is a simple one-knob plugin which is optimized for emphasizing adding punch and impact to drums, bass, and other types of percussive material.
The user interface consists of a single control knob which is used to enhance the attack transient of the processed audio signal. My guess is that the Punch knob is a macro control which affects multiple algorithm parameters under the hood.
